2010 GISD March of Dimes Campaign
Teachers, students and GISD administrative employees join together each year for a March of Dimes fundraising campaign to raise money for the effort to give all children a healthy start in life. This year's campaign raised a total of $146,220.99, with the highest contribution of $11,726.91 from North Garland High School.
Many fundraisers were held throughout the year to earn money for March of Dimes. The teachers, students, & administrators organized t-shirt sales, barbecues, walks for babies, food & bake sales, craft fairs, silent auctions, & chili cookoffs to name a few. The Garland ISD March of Dimes team continues to be one of the nation's top March of Dimes supporting school districts.
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard on the 2010 March of Dimes Campaign. GISD is in the business of saving babies, and our district once again shines with a grand total of: $146,220.99.

T-shirt Design
GISD is celebrating back to back wins! The offical Garland ISD t-shirt design won the annual Dallas area March for Babies t-shirt contest for the second year in a row, beating corporate teams like Comerica, Macy's, and Baylor Health Care.
