Marketing Education
The Marketing Education program in GISD is designed to prepare students to conduct the business functions associated with directing the flow of products and services from the producer to the consumer. Students apply the following marketing functions:

- Financing
- Marketing/Information Management
- Pricing
- Product Planning
- Promotion
- Purchasing
- Risk Management
- Selling
This program links classroom instruction with work-based learning experience to develop marketing expertise and prepare students to understand the needs of the consumer and the importance of customer satisfaction. Students also have opportunities to develop leadership, social, and career skills through their participation in DECA, the student organization for Marketing Education.
