Tai Chi

by Jennifer Wilhite

The slow fluid movements of Tai Chi strengthen the body and sooth the mind. This Tai Chi form increases energy, boosts the immune system, focuses the mind and effectively reduces physical and mental stress. The martial art aspect will be examined but actual martial art application is way beyond the scope of this class. In order to learn the complete form in ten sessions regular attendance is suggested. Flat soled shoes and comfortable clothing is suggested.

Students are encouraged to bring any club from a 9 iron to a 5 iron for the first two classes (6 iron preferably). Classes 3 through 6 you can bring other clubs that you might like to use, like a driver or 3-wood.
