Curriculum Development and School Improvement

Most of the curriculum development in Garland ISD is overseen by the Department of School Improvement. The curriculum is based upon the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum standards approved by the State Board of Education in the summer of 1997.
