AVID Program
The AVID Program is a fifth through twelfth grade program to prepare students in academics for four-year college eligibility.
This program is offered at the following campuses:
- Jackson Math/Science Technology Center
- Lyles Middle School
- O'Banion Middle School
- Sam Houston Middle School
- Sellers Middle School
- Garland High School
- Lakeview Centennial High School
- North Garland High School
- South Garland High School
It has a proven track record in bringing out the best in students, and in closing the achievement gap.
