After-School Programs for Middle School Students
ESL After-School
The ESL After-School Program is a tutorial program designed to support the ESL students' efforts in their regular classes and to accelerate language acquisition. This program is offered at all GISD middle school campuses with the exceptions of Jackson Technology Center and Memorial Preparatory.
MST After-School Program at Jackson Technology Center
Open to all students attending Jackson Technology Center, courses are offered for fun and enrichment in the Fall and Spring semesters. Example of courses are:
- Master Minds (chess and thinking games)
- German for beginners
- Cooking classes
- Debate classes
- Arts and Crafts
- Study Skills
