Academic Pentathlon
Twelve of our middle schools particpate in the Academic Pentathlon program. This program encourages and rewards seventh and eighth grade student academic excellence through the motivation of competitive challenge. Like decathlon, teams are comprised of nine students, but they only compete in only five events that include:
- Language arts/essay
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social studies
- "Super Quiz"
