Summer Travel with Fine Arts Teachers
Each summer, the Fine Arts Department takes a trip to Europe to explore the many cultural sites in the world. Although it is a Fine Arts sponsored trip, enrollment is open to anyone. Read below about the upcoming trip.

Your Garland Teachers' Group Tour to Paris, the Loire Valley, and the Champaign Region includes:
• Scheduled NON STOP commercial jet transportation for all participants from Dallas/Ft. Worth to Paris and return
• Transfers by luxury air-conditioned motorcoach throughout the tour in France with English-speaking drivers, as needed per the itinerary (driver gratuities included)
• Three nights' accommodations at the four-star Holiday Inn Republique in Paris on the Place de la Republique, a nineteenth-century edifice restored to today's standards, three nights accommodations at the Hotel de L'Universe in Tours, France at the heart of the village, and two night's accommodations at the Mercure Reims Cathedral Hotel in Reims in the center of Reims
• Breakfast each day at each hotel and all dinners except one in Paris, one in Tours, and one in Reims are
provided. No lunches provided.
• Tours of the vineyards in Reims and the Loire Valley, and wine tasting sessions in both regions
• Paid admission to a Seine River cruise, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Paris Opera House, Mercier champaign caves, Reims Cathedral, Chenonceaux Chateau, and Chateau Amboise
• The services of one licenced Paris/France guide per coach throughout the itinerary for all touring and an extra guide while touring in museums and on foot to keep the guide to passenger ratio low (including standard gratuities)
• The services of a USIT tour conductor at all times at the destination to oversee the smooth operation of the tour at all times at the destination
Garland Teachers' Group Paris, the Loire Valley, and the Champaign Region Payment Schedule:
A. A first payment of $250.00 per passenger is due by August 27, 2008.
B. A second payment of $450.00 per passenger is due September 22, 2008.
C. A third payment of $450.00 per passenger is due by October 22, 2008.
D. A fourth payment of $450.00 per passenger is due by November 22, 2008.
E. A fifth payment of $450.00 per passenger is due by December 17, 2008.
F. A sixth payment of $450.00 per passenger is due by January 19, 2009.
G. A seventh payment of $450.00 per passenger is due by February 19, 2009.
H. An eighth payment of $450.00 per passenger is due by March 19, 2009.
I. A ninth payment of the balance per passenger is due by April 19, 2009.
