Imagine the grocery shopping it would take for you to serve over 10 million meals per year!
For the GISD Food Service Department, that translates to over a million hamburgers, 3.2 acres of pizza, and 200 tons of french fries. It takes a herd of over 500 dairy cows to provide the milk, cheese and ice cream consumed by students each year.
Over the years, our school cafeterias have earned the highest average health scores during Health Department inspections than any other industry - including hospitals!
Parent Account Management System
Families may now pre-pay for school meals by using PAMS. By using the PAMS system, you can:
- Prepay for your student’s meals online or on the phone safely and conveniently.
- Choose Visa, Mastercard, Discover, electronic check or debit card.
- Set up your account for automatic payments when balance is low.
- Access meal account balances online or by phone.
- Access payment history online or by phone.
- Receive e-mail notification of balance status automatically.
- Receive email confirmation of automatic payments.
- Register multiple students under one account.
There are three steps to setting up an account.
- Register with PAMS
Go to www.pamslunchroom.com or call 1-888-994-5100 to provide your student’s meal account ID# and billing information. For phone payments, you will also need the school district ID75040. - Choose your payment options.
Make manual payments at your convenience or set up automatic payments based on your student’s balance falling below an amount that you determine - Make a payment
Pay by credit/debit card or by electronic check withdrawal from your bank account. You will receive an immediate confirmation that your payment has been received. (Please note: Payments take 1-2 business days to post to your student’s account at his/her school cafeteria.)
