Any 9th-12th grade student who would like to accelerate their learning, recover credits needed to graduate, or who needs additional time to remain in elective/extracurricular programs.

Course Offerings:

May vary based on whether a student is taking a course for credit recovery purposes or original credit. Ask your counselor for additional details.

  • Middle School ESL:

  • 10th-12th Grade:

  • High School ESL (includes incoming 9th):
    North Garland HS, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Attendance Policy:

Only two absences are allowed during a summer semester!

Registration Information:

Registration for BOTH 1st and 2nd semesters will be held on June 11th and June 15th (8:00am to 2:00pm) at home campuses. Late registration will be held June 17th at the respective Summer School sites. Late fee will be assessed. – See your counselor!

 

Transportation:

Provided for ESL High School program only.

 

Fee:

To be determined. No tuition refund will be issued after the third class day. Original payment receipts will be required to process a refund.

 

Credit Recovery – When a student does not receive credit for a course the first time the student takes the course, the student will need to “recover” the necessary credit, especially if the course is required for graduation.

 

Original Credit – When a student enrolls in a course for the first time. This is often called “original credit.”
