Employees can tailor a disability plan that fits their particular circumstances (sick leave, savings, etc.). The plan has several elimination periods to choose from and you can select either a short-term or long-term duration of benefits. Rates are based on the monthly benefit, elimination period and duration chosen. Disability benefits are paid to you regardless of any District paid leave.
