Instructional Resource Center

The Instructional Resources Center is available to support Garland ISD teachers by providing them with a circulating collection of audio books, textbooks on tape, videos, kits, novel sets, and professional periodicals.

The IRC also includes a project center where teachers can access a variety of tools for creating instructional teaching aids for their students and classrooms.

The resource center is instrumental in helping teachers implement alternate teaching strategies and learning styles to engage students and improve achievement.Award-winning author Susan Campbell Bartoletti, visited Austin Academy students.
