Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Programs
School Hours
GISD encourages each parent to have their student arrive at school approximately 10 minutes before class begins and it is imperative that parents make provisions for their children immediately upon dismissal.

P.M. Pre-Kindergarten
12:15 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.

Kindergarten - 5th Grade
8:00 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.

Elementary Dress Code
The principal, as designated leader of his/her school, is responsible for the attitude, manners, and conduct of his/her pupils and personnel. Therefore, the final decision in determining appropriate dress and appearance shall rest with the campus principal or assistant principal. Failure to adhere to established dress and appearance codes may result in disciplinary action.
