Grants
GISD’s grants department helps the district, campuses, staff members and administrators find appropriate State, Federal, corporate, and foundation discretionary grant opportunities to meet their needs. These grants allow the district to offer supplemental programs such as: after-school programs; reading and mathematics tutoring; mentoring opportunities; staff development; and numerous other areas related to student achievement. The department also provides training and grant writing assistance for GISD staff.
