Innovative Programs
Title V, Part A-Innovative Programs provides supplemental Federal funding to implement promising education reform programs to meet the educational needs of at-risk and high-needs students and to provide support programs to improve overall student, school and teacher performance. The additional funding helps students meet challenging state content and academic achievements standards.
Currently, the supplemental funding received for GISD helps fund:
- Professional development for staff
- Literacy materials for campuses
