Instructional Technology
Garland ISD provides an instructional environment rich with technology. Every teacher has a computer in the classroom to facilitate teaching, record keeping, and home/school communication. All classroom computers have high speed Internet access, district wide connectivity, and a large display tool for teaching. In addition, each campus offers a variety of computer labs.
General Purpose Labs
These labs are available for teachers to bring entire classes to learn new software, write papers, do general research, work collaboratively with other students on media based projects. This offers all students the necessary tools to succeed and truly be involved in the learning process.
