Designated Transportation Areas:
Current School Year (2010 - 2011)
Parents may choose the school they wish their children to attend in accordance with the Choice of School Process.
School bus transportation is provided to students living two or more miles from the nearest available school. If a parent chooses a school that is not a neighborhood school, the parent may be responsible for providing transportation to the selected school.
Choice Period Information
The Open-Enrollment 30-day Choice Period occurs in the spring with two separate enrollment periods for secondary and elementary.
- Secondary Choice Period (grades 5-11)
January 21, 2010 - February 19, 2010 - Elementary Choice Period (grades PreK-4)
March 2, 2010 - March 31, 2010
During the Open-Enrollment 30-day Choice Period parents are asked to contact the Transportation Department if transportation is a deciding factor for their choice of school.
