Designated Transportation Areas:
Upcoming School Year (2008 - 2009)

Parents may choose the school they wish their children to attend in accordance with the Choice of School Process.  

School bus transportation is provided to students living two or more miles from the nearest available school.  If a parent chooses a school that is not a neighborhood school, the parent may be responsible for providing transportation to the selected school.

The Open-Enrollment 30-day Choice Period occurs in the spring with two separate enrollment periods for secondary and elementary.  The choice period for secondary (grades 5-11) is January 29, 2008 through February 29, 2008 with the choice period for elementary (grades PreK-4) February 28, 2008 through March 28, 2008.  During the Open-Enrollment 30-day Choice period parents are asked to contact the Transportation Department if transportation is a deciding factor in their choice of school.
