GISD Theatre Group Advances in a State Wide Theatrical Contest

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) conducts a state wide theatrical contest for the High Schools. The schools across the state are in the same district alignments as the other UIL events.
Each spring over 1200 plays are produced for the contest. The plays are selected by each high school theatre and must be under 40 minutes long.
The Garland District includes the seven Garland schools plus Rockwall. Two schools Advance out of the District to the next level of Area. Congratulations to North Garland HS and Rockwall HS for advancing to Area!
