North Garland High School Theater Group Participates in UIL Regional Theatrical Contest

The NGHS Raider Theater group particpated in the UIL Regional theatrical contest held on April 11th at Baylor University. To particpate in the Regional level contest the Raider group had to previously advance from the UIL Area Level theatrical contest which was held back on April 5th.
Over 1200 plays are produced for the UIL contest by high school theatre groups and must be under 40 minutes long. The Raider group's One Act Play performance at Baylor was simply stellar. Although they were not chosen to advance, the Raider Theatre group had several students who received individual awards for their performance on stage.
