Day in Pictures: View the Images as Garland ISD Goes Back to School

School children across the Metroplex officially closed the doors on their summer vacations Monday morning and Garland ISD's young learners were included.

As is traditionally observed each year at several campuses, parents lined neighborhood sidewalks as they strolled toward their child's school. Tears were shed by kids and guardians alike as the 2008-09 school year got underway.
