Rowlett Eagles Track and Field Part of One-hour Texas Relays Broadcast

FSN Southwest is scheduled to air a one-hour program on the 82nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays presented by State Farm two times over the next week. The first showing is today, Tuesday, April 28 at 5:30 p.m. The show will also air Sunday, May 3, at 4 p.m.

Rowlett High School

The relays took place earlier this month in Austin and featured the nation’s top high school and collegiate athletes. Garland ISD’s Rowlett Eagles were named the meet’s Most Outstanding High School Team.

The defending 5A state champions won the 4x200-meter relay in 1:26.04 and finished second in the 4x100-meter relay (41.05). Individually, senior Marquise Goodwin won the long jump with a meet record 25-2.75 and the triple jump (49-10.5). The University of Texas signee also finished second in the 100 meters (10.48).
