GISD Trustees approved the final amended budget for 2008-09 and the new budget for 2009-10 at the school board meeting Thursday night in the Harris Hill Administration Building.
The new school year tax rate was also approved. Numbers included:

Food Service – $24,592,000
Total – $439,383,093
