Community invited to Live Well, Go Green Expo

Looking to lead a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle? Don't miss the 2016 Live Well, Go Green Expo from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Curtis Culwell Center. Formerly called the Healthy Living Expo, Garland ISD is once again partnering with the City of Garland to host this year's event.

Bring the entire family for free health screenings and low-cost vaccinations. Also, be sure to visit Outdoor Fest for a host of fun activities. Recycle Row will provide participants the opportunity to dispose of nontraditional materials at no charge, and 15-minute Stop & Learn demonstrations cover topics from composting to quick fitness routines.

Back by popular demand, the annual H2O 5K offers the opportunity to exercise before attending the Expo. It’s not too late to register. Visit the website for more information.
