COVID-19 Color Levels

In collaboration with the Garland Health Department, we have implemented a tricolor level system to alert families of location-based safety measures. If a color level is enacted for their student’s campus, families will receive a notification detailing yellow- or red-level restrictions.

Athletics, Fine Arts & Other Extracurricular Activities
  • No limit on audience or spectators 
  • Try to play, practice or rehearse  outside
  • No limit on audience or spectators
  • Social distancing between students and audience or spectators is required
  • Try to play, practice or rehearse outside
  • Limit capacity for both indoor and outdoor audience or spectators 
  • Social distancing is required for both indoor and outdoor events
Large Group Gatherings (Faculty Meetings, Field Days, etc.)

Visitors
  • All visitors will be asked to show their ID to be checked into the Raptor Visitor Management system if needing to enter the school. Appointments required

  • No direct exposure to staff or students allowed
  • Only essential visitors are allowed at campus or in district facilities

  • 3.4 % or greater will require consultation with the local health authority. 

  • Schools must remain in a percentage range for 2 consecutive days before moving to a new percentage category.
