Garland ISD invites community members to attend the district’s second Citizen Bond Committee (CBC) meeting from 6:30-9 p.m. July 16, at the Curtis Culwell Center.
Attendees will become informed of current GISD needs and goals, which are vital to the design of a bond referendum proposal. New construction, renovation and technology projects will be addressed, along with safety, security and technology needs.
A gallery will be available for guests to hear the committee’s opinions and concerns.
GISD’s CBC is a group of select community members with knowledge of past, present and future district needs who have been tasked with developing a bond proposal for recommendation to the Board of Trustees.
