Go Red Day
Heart disease accounts for nearly 1 of every 3 deaths. We as a community can change that. 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action. That's why we are wearing something red on this day to show support and raise awareness about heart health.
Don't forget to make your heart health a priority. Schedule a prevention check-up to review your overall health so your doctor can measure blood pressure, check cholesterol and look for signs of heart disease, stroke and other illnesses.
By following the American Heart Association's Life's Simple Seven, you can keep your heart healthy.
