Title IX reporting
The following link is how you will now report any potential Title IX concerns within your campus or department. When clicking the link you will be prompted to enter your GISD email address and the password for your computer. After doing this you will be redirected to the form. Please answer all the questions provided and submit. The form will then be immediately forwarded to the Title IX Coordinator and processed.

Expand AllChanging your address/phone number in employee records
To change your address or phone number, you need to make this change in Oracle self-service.
Make an official name change
To have your name changed, please bring your social security card with your new name to Human Resources, and then change your name in Oracle self-service.
If you have any other questions regarding name changes you can contact Human Resources.
Get a copy of your service record
Current Employees
Contact Human Resources for information.
Former Employees
Former employees of Garland ISD needing a copy of their service record for verification of teaching or work experience need to complete the records request form.
Apply for a new position (not a transfer or lateral change)
Create an online application if you do not have one or update your existing online application and apply for the job. Login to job application system.
Taking Medical leave

Public Service Loan Forgiveness
Employees working in public service may be able to get loan forgiveness. The employee must:
- have made 120 monthly payments under a qualifying payment plan
- be working full-time for a qualifying employer

Applying as a GISD employee
Garland ISD's Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) is 756001650.
After completing your portion of the PSLF form, email it to their HR Staffing Specialist so that we may complete the employer section.
