You talked, and Dr. López listened!
When Garland ISD Superintendent Dr. Ricardo López joined the district, he conducted listening sessions asking three questions:
- What should the district continue doing?
- What should the district start doing?
- What should the district stop doing?
Input was gathered and posted on our website.
This follow up meeting is to share with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and any other attendees what’s been accomplished since those initial listening sessions. All are welcome to attend.
The event begins with a campus tour of the Gilbreath-Reed Career and Technical Center at 5:30 p.m., followed by the meeting in the Lecture Hall at 6 p.m.
