March Madness with myON

Break out your reading playbook with the myON March Madness challenge! Students who read at least 500 minutes will be entered to win prizes.

The challenge will be from March 8-April 4. The top elementary, middle and high school with the most minutes read will be awarded a banner and other prizes.

Winners will be announced on April 5. Be sure to log in with WiFi to be counted. See the myON March Madness site for details.

MyON logoGarland ISD and Renaissance® have partnered with the cities of Garland, Rowlett and Sachse with the goal of creating a community of readers. We are thrilled to be able to provide residents of all ages with access to a digital library with thousands of books through myON® by Renaissance. 

Every community member can access myON Books for free on web-enabled devices such as tablets, laptops and desktop computers. Users will find books in Spanish and English, content for all reading levels and tools such as audio, text highlighting, zoom, and an embedded dictionary.

To get free access to myON books from any location with internet, register for a free account. Registration is available in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
