Get ready to go for the gold at Summer Intersession! Students will have learning opportunities for acceleration, enrichment and intervention throughout the week. Each student will have individualized instruction to meet their needs, as well as the opportunity to participate in fun contests with prizes. All campuses will have individual intersessions, with special offerings being held at "hub" campuses. This final Intersession for the 2020-21 school year will focus on mathematics, literacy, EOC, and CCMR.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Transportation for elementary and middle school is only available for eligible students who already ride the bus. HS students will have the opportunity to take a shuttle to Intersession. See garlandisd.net/intersession for details.
Families will contact their campus to register. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your campus if you have questions.
Intersession will be held during the following four-hour periods each day:
- Elementary: 8:10 a.m.-12:10 p.m.
- Middle School: 8:50 a.m.-12:50 p.m.
- High School: 7:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m.
Each day will have two sessions with a break in between, as well as time for breakfast and lunch.
