LCHS named national champs

Lakeview Centennial High School made history earlier this spring by winning the first-ever Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Game Day Live Championship. The Patriots brought their cheerleaders and pep band together for an epic performance in Florida, reminiscent of a Friday night football game.

UCA is the most prestigious high school competition in the country, nationally televised on ESPN every year. In 2020, over 20,000 athletes and 950 teams competed at the Walt Disney World Resort® in celebration of the organization’s 40th National High School Cheerleading Championship anniversary.

Lakeview qualified to compete by submitting an entry video, which included elements of band chant, situational sideline, crowd leading and fight song. View the Patriots’ winning performance on the Varsity TV website.
