Garland ISD: CTE Hospitality Cluster

The Hospitality and Tourism Cluster includes management and operations of restaurants and other food services, lodging, attractions, recreation events and travel related services.

Students have the opportunity to experience work situations by completing an internship at various hotels located in the Garland and Dallas area.

The Culinary Arts program features opportunities to study food merchandising, food handling, preparation, nutrition, budgeting, industry specific terminology, equipment use and food science.
