Grant support

Grant Support is dedicated to communicating and providing assistance in obtaining external funding for educational programs that prepare our students for academic success.  Grant Support assists GISD personnel by approving grant requests, locating and obtaining funding to support school and district objectives, and enhancing opportunities for faculty and staff to introduce research-based and proven educational programs aligned with district initiatives.

Grant Support strives to build relationships with district personnel who are writing grant proposals, thus reducing district duplication of efforts.  Grant Support works diligently to ensure that grant applications that are submitted to the funding source conform to grant requirements.  Additionally, Grant Support aids in the reporting and review processes for ongoing grant programs in order to ensure fidelity to the award requirements.

Please note: Efforts to gain funding should always be discussed with Grant Support. The steps listed below alert us to grant proposals underway so that campuses and departments can work collaboratively on common grant proposals.
