Every student in Garland ISD deserves a school where they can learn, grow, and succeed. While many of our campuses posted impressive gains, several schools need focused support.

The Texas Education Agency requires districts in this position to develop Turnaround Action Plans (TAPs) and Targeted Improvement Plans (TIPs). We see these plans as more than a compliance step. They give us a framework to raise achievement while protecting the strengths that define Garland ISD: welcoming campuses, dedicated educators, and families who care deeply about their schools.
