New Employee Orientation
Are you new to the Garland ISD team? Join us for New Employee Orientation, where you'll meet district staff, work with peers, and get prepared to start your career with us.
We will cover a breadth of material to help you understand how our district works, learn foundational information about working in education, and get acquainted with #TeamGISD as a professional employee.
Attending the event
All new to GISD professional employees should attend. Some additional details:
- Attire is business casual. Jeans are acceptable.
- Light continental breakfast will be served.
- New employees will earn the May 27, 2026 Exchange Day.
