Our Family & Community Engagement department invites you to our 2nd annual Prekindergarten Parent University! Parents will have the opportunity to learn about our Pre-K programs as well as tips for helping their child grow at home. The event will also feature free food and a variety of resource booths.

• Storytime at Home: Simple and Fun Ways to Build a Reader
• How to Get Your Kids Talking
• What Will Your Child Learn in Pre-K?
• Building a Culture of Literacy at Home

The event will also feature vendors and other information booths:

• Region 10
• Garland, Rowlett, and Sachse libraries
• SAIL Program
• Child Find
• Reading with Rodney mobile library
• Additional Garland ISD departments

Schedule

• Registration and free dinner start at 5 p.m. (courtesy of Credit Union of Texas)
• Session 1 will begin at 6 p.m.
• Session 2 will begin at 6:50 p.m.
