Garland ISD Student Nutrition Services is expanding access to free summer meals through new partnerships and community locations across Garland, Rowlett, and Sachse.

For the first time, Garland ISD is partnering with the cities of Garland, Rowlett, and Sachse and their public libraries to expand summer reading opportunities and encourage a lifelong love of reading.

Fourth graders from Abbett Elementary traveled to Fort Worth on an Education in Action Discover Texas Field Trip, visiting the Fort Worth Stockyards, the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, and the Cattle Raisers Museum.
